About the Department
The Ophthalmology Department was started in the year 2021 in the 2th floor of hospital block, Government Medical College, Ariyalur. The mission of the ophthalmology Department is to promote quality of vision and reduce the prevalence of blindness in our district and values based education by motivating the practical skills of students and create awareness on the recent advances in ophthalmology .
